PILGRIMAGE PROPOSALS

Vox Peregrini is calling for proposals for future pilgrimages by interested Artistic Directors and Intentional Listeners. Completed proposals will be reviewed by the Board of Directors during our July board meetings. Selected proposals will receive financial and logistical support from the Vox Peregrini Board of Directors. Leaders of the pilgrimages will be invited to regular Vox Peregrini Board Meetings to provide updates on all matters pertaining to the pilgrimage, including planning, execution, recruitment, content, and communication with the pilgrims. Templates for Budget and Itinerary are available at the buttons below and will need to be submitted via email (along with the CVs of the proposed Artistic Director and Intentional Listener) to johnlenwiles@gmail.com for a Proposal to be considered complete. Successful proposals will typically include leadership who have walked with Vox Peregrini in a previous pilgrimage.

Please complete Pilgrimage Proposals by July 1 for a pilgrimage planned for the following year.

(Ex: 2026 Pilgrimages should have proposals completed by July 1, 2025.)

People need wild places.  Whether or not we think we do, we do.  We need to be able to taste grace and know again that we desire it.  We need to experience a landscape that is timeless, whose agenda moves at the pace of speciation and glaciers.  To be surrounded by a singing, mating, howling commotion of other species, all of which love their lives as much as we do ours, and none of which could possibly care less about us in our place.  It reminds us that our plans are small and somewhat absurd.        BARBARA KINGSOLVER, Small Wonder
